Dodge City volleyball claimed a fourth-place finish in the KJCCC and, after an opening-round playoff win in five sets over Garden City, is set to continue in the postseason in the Semifinals of the region tournament. A trio of Conquistadors have been recognized with All-Conference KJCCC honors for the 2025 season.
First team All-KJCCC honors were earned by
Chelsea Durbridge and
Kayla Cantrill, while
Amariah White picked up second team All-KJCCC honors. White earned all-conference honors for the second straight year.
Durbridge has played in all 29 matches this season, recording 984 assists with an average of 9.37 assists per set; both numbers rank second in the KJCCC and Top 10 in the NJCAA. Her performance as a setter with assists ranks her sixth all-time in a single season, with a chance to move up, and ranks her in the Top 10 in career assists.
Cantrill leads the Conqs in kills this season with 289 as she averages 2.75 kills per set, ranking sixth and seventh in the KJCCC, while playing in all 29 matches this season. She has added 208 digs, 49 blocks, and 50 aces, which are the fourth most in the KJCCC.
White, for the second straight season, has earned all-conference honors after playing in all 29 matches this season for the Conqs. She has 229 kills, two assists, five digs, two aces, and 116 blocks on the season, ranking fourth in the KJCCC in blocks. White ranks second all-time in school history in total blocks with over 250 in her two-year career.
The Conqs are in the region semifinals for the fourth straight year after their first-round win over Garden City and will take on Barton in the semifinals at 5:00pm on Saturday, November 8th, at Fort Hays State University.
