The Conqs games at Colby scheduled for Saturday, April 20th have been moved to Monday, April 29th in Colby so the Conqs will next be in action on Wednesday, April 24th at Seward County to continue the season.

Game 1 – Lost 13-3 vs Butler (5 innings)
After a scoreless first inning, the Conqs would see Butler bat around in the second scoring eight runs on six hits, two walks, and four Conq errors. The Grizzlies added a run in the third and two more in the fourth to lead 11-0. The Conqs broke through in the bottom of the fourth as Josie Oakley hit a one-out triple and then two batters later would score on an RBI single by Emily Yelton. The top of the fifth saw Butler tally two more runs leading to the Conqs having to score in the bottom of the fifth to keep the game going. The Conqs would not go quietly as Abigail Taylor drew a walk, then Reneau Ratzlaff notched a single and both would score on a two-RBI double by Camryn Lenz but that's all the Conqs would score ultimately falling 13-3 in five innings.

In the loss, the Conqs saw Lenz go 1-3 with two RBI and a double, while Oakley was 1-3 with a run scored and a triple. Taylor drew a pair of walks and scored a run, while Yelton had an RBI single and Ratzlaff had a hit and run scored.

Butler would add another run in the fifth to lead 11-0 and the Conqs looked to get on the board in the bottom of the fifth. After only having two runners in the game entering the bottom of the fifth the Conqs strung back-to-back hits with two-outs together from Sayge Salmans and Hannah Garcia to continue the inning and break up the no-hitter but would be unable to score falling 11-0 in five innings.
