Leisey Keli'i Named KJCCC DI Defensive "Player of the Week" for Third Time This Season

November 05, 2024

For the eighth time overall the Dodge City volleyball team has had a player earn KJCCC Division I "Player of the Week" honors as Leisey Keli'i was selected as KJCCC DI Defensive "Player of the Week."

The honor marks the third time this season that Keli'i has earned the award, and it comes after a 17 dig, four aces, and three assist performance against Seward County in the regular season finale as the Conquistadors earned the straight-set win.

On the season, Keli'i has amassed 477 digs, along with 58 assists, 41 aces, and five kills playing all 33 matches for the Conqs.

The Conqs sit at 20-13 with a third-place finish in the KJCCC which earned them a first-round home playoff game. Postseason starts on Wednesday, November 6th at 6:00 pm at home for the Conqs as they will host Hutchinson.
