Dodge City men's golf team will head into the spring season ranked #13 as the final fall NJCAA Division I rankings have been released by Clippd by Scoreboard. 
 
The Conquistadors ranked at #13 capped the fall season with a strong showing at the NJCAA National Preview finishing sixth as a team and finishing ahead or tied with four teams who rank ahead of them in the poll. The fall season opened for the Conqs with a repeat tournament win as the Conqs claimed the Southwestern Christian Invitational title for the second straight year. Conqs also recorded a third-place finish at a NCAA DII event the Sam Proal Insurance Invitational in Pueblo, Colorado, and fifth place at the Newman Invite. 
 
Nine Conqs who competed in the fall are ranked individually as the individual ranking features nearly 340 golfers. Leading the way for the Conqs in the rankings is Rhys Nicholas who is the highest-ranked Conq at #17. Freshman, Joao Iglesias has started his career for the Conqs strong and is ranked #27 after the fall season. 
 
Three more Conqs check in the rankings in the Top 100 as Jack McKie is ranked #80, Luke Shelton at #91, Chutithep Rungpajchim comes in at #94. Drew Heinz is ranked #128, while Colby Hays checks in at #175, Winston Knobloch at #183, and Blake Strong at #220.
 
Conqs now focus on the spring where they will compete at a high level and challenge in the KJCCC, Region 6, and the district while looking to earn another trip to the NJCAA National tournament.
