                    Box Score Dodge City volleyball secured their 14th win of the season beating Seward County in four sets at home on Saturday. 
The Conquistadors snagged the win in four sets – 25-21, 25-21, 17-25, 25-10 to improve to 14-13 on the season and 5-7 in KJCCC action, also giving the Conqs the season series sweep of the Saints winning both matchups. 
It was a strong start to the night for the Saints as the Conqs fell behind in the first set as Seward County worked up to a 16-9 lead forcing the Conqs to take a timeout to settle things down. The Conqs would hang tough in the set and battle back to tie the first set at 21-21 and then take the lead 22-21 leading to a Seward County timeout. The Conqs would finish the first set off winning 25-21. Set two was back-and-forth for most of it as he each traded the lead until at 15-15 the Conqs went on a 5-0 run to go up 20-15 and didn't look back grabbing set two 25-21. In the third set, a 6-0 run midway through the set propelled Seward County to the front and the Saints remained alive in the contest taking the third set 25-17. After slow starts to the first three sets the Conqs started hot in set four jumping up 9-4 early and would work the lead to double figures at 15-5 and even as high as 20-6. The Conqs would hold Seward to just 10 points in the fourth set winning it 25-10 to grab the win. 
In the win, the Conqs saw Tess De Zanet record her fourth double-double in the last five matches with 14 kills and 10 digs while adding three aces. Beatriz Lampugnani Cornachini added 13 kills, nine digs, two aces, and three blocks, while Agnes Hegardt had eight kills. Leisey Keli'i was strong at the libero spot again with 20 digs and three aces. Hayden Pinard and Sierra Scanlan handled the setting duties as Pinard had 27 assists, six digs, and five aces, while Scanlan recorded 17 assists, eight digs, and two kills. 
Four games remain in the regular season for the Conqs as they will travel to Concordia to take on Cloud County on Wednesday, October 18th at 6:30 pm, before wrapping up the regular season with three straight home games against Pratt, Butler, and Colby.
