September 13, 2022

Dodge City men's soccer team jumped into the Top 20 NJCAA Division I rankings last week and after a 1-1 week on the pitch last week competing in a pair of Top 20 matchups the Conqs are once again ranked this week.

The Conqs move up four spots to #15 in the latest NJCAA DI rankings and sit at 5-2 on the season and 1-1 in KJCCC action. Three other KJCCC schools check-in in the NJCAA DI rankings this week alongside the Conqs as Cowley is #3, Coffeyville moves up to #13, and Barton moves down to #16. Neosho County is also receiving votes in this week's poll.

On the season the Conqs have had plenty of success as they rank in the Top 10 in the nation in several categories checking in at second in shots on goal (82), fourth in goals (32), fifth in shots (141), sixth in shots per game (20.1), and eighth in assists (25).

Conqs step out of conference play to continue the season for their next competition as they will host McPherson JV on Wednesday, September 14th at 3:00 pm and then will host Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa on Saturday, September 17th at 3:00 pm.Â
