DODGE CITY, Kan. - On Monday night in the Dodge City Community College cafeteria, the Conquistador basketball team's held a tip-off dinner to get fans and players excited for the upcoming season. 

After dinner, head women's basketball coach Zach Loll took to the podium to introduce his women's basketball roster. 

Head men's coach Steve C. Tucker took the podium next and introduced his roster for the supporters in attendance.

The night was capped off by key-note speaker, eight-time world bull riding champion, Donnie Gay. After spending two days with the Dodge City rodeo teams, Gay spoke at the tip-off dinner gave a great message to the athletes and coaches for their upcoming season.

Both teams will kickoff their seasons on Wednesday, as the women will host Sterling College JV at 5:30, while the men will begin at 7:30 against Northwest Kansas Tech inside the Student Activity Center.
