Box Score ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. — Another close contest unfortunately for the Dodge City Community College men's basketball team turned into another loss as the Conquistadors fell to Cowley 81-78 in overtime Saturday on the road.

Despite dropping four of its last five contests, DC3 (10-5, 1-3) has led late in all of those games, lost two in overtime and another by just two points.

In Saturday's contest, the Conqs trailed 32-30 at the half to Cowley (10-6, 2-3) before making a run to take a 52-45 lead at the media timeout.

Cowley rallied to take a 60-59 advantage with five minutes left and the teams traded the lead before heading to overtime.

In overtime, the Conqs and Tigers were tied 76-76 with 1:41 remaining before Cowley outscored DC3 5-2 down the stretch for the victory.

No statistics were available as of Saturday night.

The Conqs return home when they host Butler 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dodge City Civic Center.
