DODGE CITY, Kansas: Dodge City men's and women's basketball will be starting the first round of the NJCAA Region VI tournament this Saturday, beginning the trek to Championship status.
DC3 men's basketball enters the tournament as the #11 seed. This season, they went 17-13 overall and 7-9 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference, closing out the #5 seed in the KJCCC West Division standings.
On Saturday, February 28 at 7:30 p.m., the Conqs will head to Arkansas City, Kansas to take on #6 seed Cowley Community College (11-19 overall, 7-4 KJCCC) in the first round of the tournament.
Conquistador women's basketball enters the tournament as #15 seed. This season, they went 10-20 overall and 1-15 in conference play, closing out the #9 seed in the KJCCC West Division standings.
On Saturday, February 28 at 5 p.m., Dodge City women's basketball will head to Coffeyville, Kansas to take on the #2 seed Coffeyville Community College (22-8, 12-1 KJCCC) in the first round of the tournament.
