Box Score NORTH PLATTE, Neb. -- The Dodge City Community College men's basketball team won its fifth game in a row by edging North Platte 95-92 on the road Saturday night.
The Conquistadors (8-1), who defeated the Knights 75-61 earlier this season in Dodge City, had five players finish in double figures with
Jamil Hood and
Jeremy Treaudo (who was 5-for-8 from 3-point range) leading the way with 19 points apiece.
Josh Boutte had 18 points and a game-high 15 rebounds,
James Newton had 16 points and
Lorenzo Dillard had 15 points and five assists.
Jonathan Joseph closed out Dodge City's scoring with eight points as only six players reached the scoring column.
As a team the Conqs, who led 47-43 at the half in a game that saw 16 lead changes and seven ties, shot 55.1 percent from the field and outrebounded the Knights 39-30.
Tim Wagner led North Platte (5-2) with 27 points on 11-for-16 shooting. Both of the Knights' losses have come to Dodge City this season.
Next for the Conqs is a matchup with the Tabor College junior varsity 7 p.m. Monday at the Dodge City Civic Center.
