Box Score DODGE CITY, Kansas: DC3 men's basketball came out of a tough 3OT brawl with Colby Community College with a 98-92 victory over the visiting Trojans.
The win is the Conqs first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference of the 2014-15 season, putting the team 1-1 in conference play and 11-5 overall.
Dodge took the first half by one (40-39) and dropped the second 39-38 to even things up. Both teams owned three points apiece in both the first and second overtime.
The Conqs broke away early in the third overtime and moved towards an 14-8 output, finishing the night with the 98-92 conference win.
Payton Pervier led the team with an impressive night, boasting a 32-point, 18-rebound, four block performance for the Conqs. He downed 11 of 17 from the field and went 10-17 at the charity stripe throughout the effort.

Ameer Jackson and
George Brock all put in double-figure offensives with Jackson owning 19 points and 12 boards, Eaves owning a 21-point outing with three assists, two blocks and a steal and Brock with 10 points, five boards and five assists.
The Conqs outshot the Trojan with a 45.5 percentage from the field. Dodge outshot Colby 12-7 off turnovers and 50-44 from the paint in the effort.
They also owned 20-second chance points while only allowing 11, a 10-6 advantage on fast break points. DC3s bench were big off the bench tonight with a 40-13 showing.
The Conqs will close out the week this Saturday, January 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Civic Center. DC3 will take on Pratt Community College.
