After battling Covid earlier this season Willie Gaines has worked his way back onto the field this season for the Conquistador football team and made a big impact against Hutchinson with an 80-yard punt return touchdown. Gaines busted off the return early in the matchup for the first touchdown of the day for the Conqs. He averaged 25.8 yards per return on four returns and added 17 yards receiving on three catches.
