Dodge City track and field competed at the Ichabod Invite in Topeka and it was a national qualifying and school record performance for Josue Vega. Vega posted a time of 14:46.23 to break the school record by eight seconds in the 5000-meter run and topped a record that dated back to 1999. He also qualified for NJCAA Indoor National Championship with his performance. He also competed in the 3000-meter run.
