For the third straight week, the Dodge City men's golf team hit the course, this time traveling to Council Bluffs, Iowa, to compete at the Bent Tree Intercollegiate Showcase hosted by Iowa Western. 
 
The Conquistadors posted a three-round team score of 875 (+11) to finish fifth out of 10 teams. The Conqs posted a 290 in round one, then followed with their best team round of the tournament in the second round with a 287 before finishing with a 292. 
 
Mason Barningham led the Conq performances for the third straight tournament, but he was joined by Brennen Coffield, who matched his score as they both finished 219 (+3) to tie for 15^th place out of 59 golfers. Barningham carded rounds of 69, 70, and 80, while Coffield shot 75, 73, and 71. 
 
Wyatt Sharp finished just one stroke behind his teammates in 17^th place with a 220 (+4) score after shooting rounds of 72, 73, and 76. Panyapat Khantiyoo tied for 20^th place with a 222 (+6) score, recording rounds of 76, 73, and 73, while Lucas Kuiper finished with a score of 225 (+9) with rounds of 76, 76, and 73 to tie for 24^th place. 
 
George Woodhead finished at 227 (+11) with rounds of 89, 73, and 74, while Aidan Robinson capped the Conq performances at 229 (+13) with rounds of 74, 78, and 77. 
 
The Conqs will travel for the fourth straight week next week as they continue competition this fall as they head to St. Joseph, Missouri, to compete at the Holiday Inn Express Invitational hosted by Missouri Western State University at the St. Joseph Country Club on September 28^th-29^th.
