Dodge City men's golf brought home hardware by winning the second tournament of the season, claiming the team title at the Central Kansas Classic in McPherson, Kansas. 
 
The Conquistadors put together a team score of 877 (+37) over three rounds to win the tournament by six strokes. The Conqs recorded two of the tournament's five team rounds under 300, posting 288 in the first round and capping the tournament with a 282 in the final round, with a 307 sandwiched in between in a windy second round. 
 
In the second straight tournament, Mason Barningham paced the Conqs, taking second place out of nearly 60 golfers. With rounds of 73, 74, and 70, Barningham totaled a 217 (+7) score, finishing in second place by two strokes. 
 
Just two strokes behind Barningham was his teammate, Panyapat Khantiyoo, who had one of his best performances of his Conq career, taking third place. He finished with a 219 (+9) score after shooting rounds of 71, 79, and 69. His 69 in the third round was one of only six sub-70 scores during the tournament. 
 
Wyatt Sharp made it three Conqs in the top four individually, tying for fourth place with a score of 220 (+10) after shooting rounds of 75, 74, and 71. Aidan Robinson gave the Conqs four top 10 finishes, tying for 10^th place behind a 224 (+14) score, carding rounds of 72, 80, and 72. 
 
Brennen Coffield tied for 14^th place with a 227 (+17), recording rounds of 73, 81, and 73, while Lucas Kuiper tied for 28^th with a 236 (+26), shooting rounds of 72, 88, and 76. Finishing out the Conq performances was Prakrit Jumpla, who tied for 34^th at 238 (+28), with rounds of 87, 79, and 72. 
 
Conqs will compete again in next week as they will travel to Council Bluffs, Iowa to compete at the Bent Tree Intercollegiate hosted by Iowa Western at Bent Tree Golf Course on September 21^st-22^nd.
