Make it three awards for Dodge City men's cross country runner Josue Vega, as he earned his third award this week by being named NJCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. 
 
Vega became the third straight KJCCC runner to earn national honors from the NJCAA, and he also picked up KJCCC Runner of the Week and USTFCCCA NJCAA DI Athlete of the Week honors earlier in the week. 
 
His performance at the Ollie Isom Invite earned Vega recognition as he won the event in 25:28.9, outracing 112 runners. He won the race by over 20 seconds. 
 
In the first two races of the season, Vega placed fourth for the Conqs at the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic and Rogers State Distance After Dark, posting times of 20:28.7 and 20:22.7, respectively. In his time at Dodge City, Vega has five top 10 individual finishes.
