Dodge City men's soccer opened KJCCC play with a 3-0 home win over Coffeyville, and sophomore goalkeeper Rensho Ishikawa helped lead the way, earning him KJCCC Division I Goalkeeper of the Week. 
 
The Conquistadors improved to 3-2-2 on the season after the 3-0 win over Coffeyville, and Ishikawa remained unbeaten in goal for the Conqs. He recorded the 90-minute shutout in goal with his teammates and tallied six critical saves to blank the Red Ravens. 
 
This is the third time Ishikawa has earned the honor, as he was selected as a freshman twice last season. 
 
This season, he is 3-0-1 in goal for the Conqs, with 16 saves and an 84.2% save percentage, surrendering only three goals. He leads the KJCCC in save percentage and is second in goals against and goals-against average (0.75), while ranking in the top five in saves. 
 
The Conqs have a big week ahead of them as they take on two ranked conference opponents facing off with #3 Cowley on Wednesday, September 16^th at 7:30 pm in Arkansas City, and then will host #6 Barton on Sunday, September 20^th at 1:00 pm.
