Dodge City baseball picked up a four-game series sweep of Pratt last week to move up the KJCCC standings, and the tone was set in game one of the series.

The Conquistadors picked up a 1-0 win over Pratt in the first game of the series, and the pitching performance by Cameron Stewart led the charge for the Conqs, earning him KJCCC West Pitcher of the Week honors. 

The conference honors are the third time this season the Conqs have had a Player or Pitcher of the Week. 

Stewart tossed seven scoreless innings, giving up just four hits and walking none, while striking out seven. 

On the season, Stewart has thrown 40 innings in 13 appearances with 10 starts, earning five wins. He has a team-high 41 strikeouts. 
The Conqs continue KJCCC play on Thursday, April 23rd, when they open the series with Garden City at home and then will play Garden City on the road on Saturday, April 25th.
