For the second time in just three career college rodeo competitions, De'oderick Fitzgerald has put together a strong performance for the Conquistadors. 
 
Fitzgerald at the Cowboy Stampede – Oklahoma State Rodeo in Stillwater, Oklahoma, earned fourth place in the tie-down roping competition, finishing with a combined time of 18.6. He would go 9.8 in the long round and then 8.8 in the short round, which was third in the round. 
 
Jackson Wykert also had some success in the tie-down roping competition, going eighth in the long round with a 9.6, but had tough luck with his calf in the short round, unable to record a time. 
 
The fall rodeo season will wrap up for the Conqs on October 30th – November 1st when they travel to Alva, Oklahoma, and compete at the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Rodeo.
