The Dodge City men's cross country team was represented by Juan Gomez-Lira at the NJCAA Division I National Championships in Richmond, Virginia and he capped the season competing against the best in the NJCAA. 
 
Gomez-Lira posted a time of 28:55 to place 174th out of nearly 200 runners competing. The freshman capped his first season with the Conquistadors by competing at Nationals, finishing as the top runner for the Conqs in most of the cross country season. 
 
He alongside his teammates now turn their attention to the indoor track and field season which will start for the Conqs in January of 2025 as the spring semester starts.
