Dodge City men's golf claimed a second-place finish at the Jayhawk Match II in Wichita at Crestview Country Club – South posting a three-round team score of 871 (+19).
The Conquistadors earned second place behind rounds of 292, 286, and 293 to finish with their 871 team score finishing 21 strokes ahead of third place.
Leading the way for the Conquistadors was the play of
Arthit Kruaprayong who claimed third place finishing two under par with a 211 (-2) score, posting individual rounds of 69, 71, and 71.
Three other Conqs earned Top 10 finishes in Wichita including
Luka Stanisavljevic who tied for fourth and was one of only five players to finish under par for the tournament. Stanisavljevic finished with a 212 (-1) for the tournament with rounds of 74, 71, and 67 which was the second-lowest individual round of the tournament.
Thanaphon Suwannapratheep finished in eighth place with 217 (+4) carding rounds of 75, 71, and 71, while
Supakit Seelanagae placed ninth with 218 (+5) posting rounds of 74, 69, and 75.
Austin Goodrum finished tied for 13th with a score of 222 (+9), while
Brent Reintjes placed tied for 19th with a 225 (+12) score, and
Cole Streck finished tied for 25th with a 229 (+16) score.
Conqs will wrap up KJCCC play with the Jayhawk Championship at Sand Creek Station golf course in Newton on April 17th-18th.
