Conqs Go to Cloud County in Opening Round of Region VI Tournament

(Concordia, KS.) -- The Women's Basketball team at Dodge City Community College will play in the opening round of the Region VI tournament on the road against Could County Community College. It is a brand-new season for the Conquistadors. Head Coach Zach Loll had this to say about the Region VI opener.  "We've had 2 good days of prep for Cloud.  The girls understand what's at stake heading into this game.  We have great sophomore leadership that knows what to expect at Cloud for this game." It is going to be a tough game to win as Cloud County also understands, and knows what's at stake so "it's going to be critical for us to control Scout Frame and control the glass in Wednesday's game.  If we can do those 2 things we will have a chance to win."

The Series

  • Dodge City Community College has been dominated in this series recently. Cloud County has won 10 straight and overall 10-0 since 2014-15.
