April 09, 2026

For only the sixth time in school history and only the second time earning first team honors, a Dodge City women's basketball player has earned NJCAA All-American honors.

Sophomore Savi Mi, after a strong season for the Conquistadors, became only the second Conquistador women's basketball player in school history to earn first-team NJCAA All-American honors, with the previous coming back in 1987. Four of the six NJCAA All-Americans in the program have come in the last three years under Head Coach Landon Steele

In her sophomore season, she played in all 33 games for the Conqs, helping the team post a 27-6 record and make the NJCAA Division I National Tournament for the fourth straight season. She posted 13.8 points per game on the season on 51% shooting and 44.7% from three-point range, while filling out the stat sheet with 3.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game. On top of earning All-American honors, she earned first-team All-KJCCC honors, along with being selected to the Region 6 and NJCAA DI All-Tournament teams.

The Taiwan native ranked sixth in the NJCAA in three-point field goal percentage, while leading the KJCCC. She also led the KJCCC in assists with 141 on the season and assists per game.

She caps her two-year Conq career with her name all over the school record books as she ranks second in career three-point field goal percentage (43.6%), third in single-season three-point field goal percentage, fourth in career field goal percentage (50.6%), along with career assists (225) and single-season assists. She also ranks seventh in career made three pointers with 109.

Mi earning All-American honors marks the third straight year at least one Conq women's basketball player has been recognized as an NJCAA All-American.
