For the third straight season, the Dodge City women's basketball team will open the season ranked in the NJCAA Division I national preseason poll.

The Conquistadors enter the NJCAA DI national preseason poll at #7, with two other KJCCC schools in the rankings: Hutchinson at #11, Coffeyville at #19, and Butler receiving votes. The Conqs have been ranked in the top 10 for the last 28 polls and featured overall in 58 of the last 59 polls.

With five returners, the Conqs fill out the roster with nine incoming freshmen looking to challenge for another top-flight finish in the KJCCC and at the national level.
