Box Score DODGE CITY, Kan. – Going 1-for-11 from three-point range was key as the Conquistadors fell to Hutchinson on Monday evening, 50-35.

Dodge City battled throughout the entire game, holding No. 22 Hutchinson to just 50 points in the game, but the Conqs could not seem to get things going on the offensive end.
 
Makaela Ewing led the Conqs with eight points, while Kaylee Dale added six points and a game-high nine rebounds.
 
The Conquistadors held the Blue Dragons scoreless for the first 5:45 of the game, but Hutchinson eventually caught stride and tied the game at 10 by the end of the first quarter.
 
In the second quarter, the Blue Dragons began to pull away, but could not get out of reach as they went into the locker room with a 25-20 lead.
 
The Blue Dragons extended their lead to 10 in the first eight minutes of the third quarter, and continued to add to their lead, taking a 42-29 lead into the final quarter of play.
 
The fourth quarter was very low scoring as both teams were in single digits with Hutchinson getting eight points while Dodge City only had six. The Blue Dragons were still able to hold the Conqs at arm's length as they won, 50-35.
 
The Conqs end the regular season with an overall record of 11-18 and 8-18 in KJCCC play. They will be in action again on Thurs., March 1 for postseason play. More information on where and when the Conqs will play will be posted on goconqs.com soon.
