Pam Rosales to put Dodge up 1-0 in the second minute of the game. Dodge got back on the board in the 22
nd minute when

D'Ana Prieto to take a 2-0 lead. At that point it looked like the Conqs were going to coast to an easy win as the score stayed that way until halftime.
The second half was a different story as Northwest Tech came storming back with a vengeance. Just less than nine minutes into the second half Lydia Black scored a goal to bring the score back to 2-1. Then 10 minutes later Raewyn Murphy scored again for the Mavericks to tie the game up at 2. That is the way regulation would finish and the two teams were headed for overtime.
In the first overtime period neither team was able to find the net and the game was sent to the second overtime period. With just under three minutes remaining in the second overtime Martinez Coronado struck again, this time unassisted to give Dodge City the 3 to 2 win.
The win pushed the Conqs record to 6-4 in conference play and 7-6-1 overall. They will be back in action at 2:00pm on Wednesday when they host Barton Community College at Memorial Stadium.
