Box Score HUTCHINSON, Kan. - Before heading to Colorado for the weekend, the Dodge City volleyball team traveled to Hutchinson Community College on Wednesday night, falling in three sets by scores of, 17-25, 20-25 and 13-25.

Jaylen Pegues led the Conqs with six kills while teammate Raquel Valdez was able to collect five kills and three blocks.

Gabriella Valdez was able to lead the Conquistadors with 15 assists and Alex Stecklein led with 11 digs defensively.

"We hurt ourselves tonight," head coach Kamri Nehls said. "We made too many errors and didn't take care of the ball."

The Conqs will be in action again in another tournament in Colorado. This tournament will be held in Trinidad, Colo., and Dodge City will play on Sept. 8, at 12 p.m. against Otero Junior College and 4 p.m. against Trinidad State Junior College.
