GAME NOTES: Third place in KJCCC up for grabs in DC3 vs. Pratt

DODGE CITY, Kan. -- The Dodge City Community College men's basketball team has a chance to move into third place in the KJCCC when the Conquistadors host third-place Pratt 3 p.m. Saturday at the Dodge City Civic Center.

- DC3 has a chance to tie Pratt for third at 11-5 and own the tiebreaker over the Beavers (this is the only time the teams meet this season) with a victory Saturday afternoon and only three games remaining.
- The Conqs put themselves in this position by winning nine of their last 11 games, including avenging one of those losses Wednesday by beating Garden City on the road 84-71 thanks to a trio of double-doubles: Jamie Rutherford (26 points, 13 rebounds), Lorenzo Dillard (17 points, 11 rebounds, five assists) and Josh Boutte (15 points, 13 rebounds).

- Like Dodge City, Pratt has been on a strong run - winning 10 of its last 12 games after defeating Allen County 84-81 on the road Wednesday. Isaiah Pratt paced five Beavers in double figures with 25 points to go along with 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and 4-for-7 shooting from 3-point range.
- The Beavers have five players averaging double figures and six averaging nine points or more - Bailey (16.0), Dennis Jones (15.5), Devin Campbell (15.3), Brian Wright (10.2), Julian Winton (10.1) and Byron Smith (9.1).
