- The Conqs fell to No. 21 Seward 81-61 on Saturday in Liberal. DC3 fell behind 15-2 in the opening minutes, but eventually rallied to get within seven points early in the third quarter. However, a Lady Saints run to end the third put the game away for Seward.

- Presley and Newton have been near mirrors of each other in scoring during their two years at DC3. As freshmen last season, Newton scored 327 points while Presley had 323. This season, Presley has scored 315 points while Newton has 313 points meaning the duo is just two points apart in career scoring (Newton 640, Presley 638). Both are approaching the top 10 in DC3 history in career scoring as No. 10 has 713 points.
- Slattery continues to put up strong numbers during her freshman year. To go along with her 14.7 points (fifth in KJCCC), she's averaging 12.5 rebounds (first) and 3.0 blocks (first) while shooting 66.5 percent (first). Her 263 rebounds this season is eighth on the DC3 single-season list while her 63 blocks are third on the single-season DC3 list and fifth on the career DC3 list.
