Box Score HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Dodge City Community College volleyball team was swept by No. 15 Hutchinson 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-18) Tuesday at the Sports Arena.

Sada Smith had five kills to lead the Conquistadors, Bri Doussa had four kills with no errors while Katie Garcia had 10 digs.

"We had a slow start and our offense struggled to connect with our setters tonight," DC3 coach Ashley Nehls said. "I thought we played much better defense tonight. ... We are looking forward to this weekend in Iola to have a chance to connect the offense and defense."

The loss drops the Conquistadors to 2-12 overall and 0-5 in the KJCCC while Hutchinson moves to 10-1 overall, 5-0 in the KJCCC.

DC3 travels to play in the Allen Invitational on Friday in Iola, Kan.
