DODGE CITY, Kansas:  DC3 women's basketball hit the hardwood tonight, looking for an upset of the nationally ranked #1 Hutchinson Blue Dragons, but their attempted feat would prove unsuccessful as the Lady Conqs fell 92-57 after regulation.

The Conqs put in a good effort with Talisha Presley leading the offense with an outstanding 24 points off eight from the field, a 5-8 performance from the arc and a 3-4 outing at the charity stripe.
 
Hannah Whitaker hit double-figure points also with 10 points and eight rebounds.  She was good for three from the field and 4-4 from the free throw line while adding one block and one steal.
 
Azaria Nave led the team with six assists and added two steals while Kaela Whitfield led the team with three steals on the night.  She also pulled down four.
 
DC3 as a team posted 16-18 from the charity stripe for an 88.9 free throw percentage while shooting 32.1 percent from the field and 23.8 from long range.
 
The opposition outscored the Conqs with a 54.1 field goal percentage and 55.6 percentage from the arc.
 
DC3 will hit the road, heading to Barton on Wednesday, February 4 at 5:30 p.m.
