Box Score DODGE CITY, Kansas:  Dodge City women's soccer closed up 2014 regular season play last night after garnering a huge 4-0 dominating shutout over Kansas City Kansas at home.

The Conqs owned possession through the entire game, allowing only three shots overall to the opposition while posting 35 shots on the day.  The Conqs tallied 15 shots in the first half and 20 in the second to help put the Blue Devils under.

Kristina Trinceri nabbed the first Conq goal of the day in the 31st minute of play.  She worked through defenders to get a shot off that knocked off the post and lingered on the goal line.  The KCK goalie tried to collect the ball before it went over, but was unsuccessful resulting in Trinceri's first of the night.

DC3 closed out the first half up 1-0, but did not settle in the second.  Kayla Turner was the first to score in the second at the 57 minute mark.  Rachel VanBuskirk fired a ball into the crossbar that was nearly a goal.  Turner picked up the rebound and tapped it through, putting the Conqs up 2-0.

The score advanced to 3-0 just three minutes later when Stephanie Yoder trailed a slow-roller towards the goal, Trinceri came from the right side to beat the goalie for the ball and tapped the ball through the goal for her second of the night.  Yoder sent an insurance rip as the ball entered the goal to make sure it was driven through hard.

The last goal of the day was scored in the 66th minute.  Erica Ramos gave the ball over to Beth Ulrich who ripped the ball over the goalie's hands to put the Conqs up 4-0 on the day.

Trinceri posted two goals of four shots on goal and eight total shots for a .500 shot on goal percentage.  Turner also owned eight shots, three of which were on goal along with her goal while VanBuskirk owned six shots, one of which challenged the goalie.  Yoder and Jessica Klemetson both went 1-3 on the day as well.

Neither Eliana Bardi nor Elyssia Lucio were challenged in goal as the DC3 defense posted some hard work to keep the opposition scoreless.

The Conqs close out regular season 9-6-1 overall and 4-6-1 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
