Dodge City put together a 3-1 week against Pratt and Hutchinson on the softball field and Karen Galaviz had a strong week. Galaviz went 7-13 from the plate with six runs scored, two doubles, four home runs, seven RBI, and a walk. Galaviz led a 12-home run attack in the doubleheader at Pratt as she belted four home runs in the two games going 2-3 with two runs scored, two home runs, five RBI, and a walk in game one, while going 3-3 with three runs, two home runs, and two RBI in game two. In the doubleheader against Hutchinson, she notched a hit in both games recording a double in each matchup against the Blue Dragons.
