Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City men’s basketball went 2-0 last week with wins over Independence and #18 Coffeyville. Jayse Boatwright helped lead the way for the Conquistadors starting with a career-high 24 points on 6-14 shooting and 11-14 free throws against Independence. He added seven rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block in the win over the Pirates. He followed that up with 19 points on 6-12 shooting and 7-8 free throws, adding two assists and one steal. On the season, Boatwright is averaging 11.5 points on 41.5% shooting while adding 4.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.
