Dodge City softball opened conference play last week with a sweep of Colby and a doubleheader split with Garden City. Riley Moore played a big role in the Conquistadors success to start conference play. In the comeback walk-off win over Colby in game one of the doubleheader Moore belted a three-run home run to walk-off the contest finishing 1-3 with four RBI, a walk, and a run scored in the game. Game two against Colby she was 2-4 with two RBI and a run scored. In the win over Garden City she was 2-2 with two RBI, two runs scored, a home run, and a stolen base. On the season she is batting .303 with 10 hits, nine RBI, eight runs scored, and two home runs.Â
