Dodge City track and field opened the indoor season at the Richard Alsup Invite in Maryville, Missouri and Kasey Kopetic started the season strong by qualifying for nationals in the first meet in the 60-meter hurdles. He posted a time of 8.11 in the finals to place third in the event and qualify for NJCAA Indoor nationals. He also bested the school record which he already held bettering his record time by .07 seconds.
