Dodge City baseball won a first-round playoff series for the first time since 2017 and freshman, Max Towchik was a keg cog in the team’s success in the three-game series against Coffeyville. He opened the series with a 1-4 game with two RBI, a run scored, and a home run; he would follow that up in game two by going 3-3 with a run scored, an RBI, a walk, and a double. In the final game of the series Towchik went 1-5 with a home run, three runs scored, two RBI, and three walks. 

On the season, Towchik is hitting .352 with 50 hits, 38 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples and 12 walks. While he leads the team in RBI with 49 and home runs with 12.
