Dodge City track and field opened the indoor season at the Richard Alsup Invite in Maryville, Missouri and Olivia Leatherman had a great showing in her first college meet. Leatherman after qualifying with the fifth fastest time in the 60-meter hurdles prelims (9.42) would go on to take second in the event with a time of 9.15 in the finals. She also competed in the 200-meter dash (28.03).
