Dodge City Community College Athletics

Dodge City volleyball team put together a 2-1week last week and J’Carra Mitchell continued to be an impact for the Conquistadors with some strong performances. 
 
In the contest against Pratt, Mitchell recorded eight kills on a .462 hitting percentage adding a dig and block, she added three kills and four blocks against Seward County later in the week. She wrapped up the week posting a season best nine kills on a .316 hitting percentage against Cloud County adding four digs and three blocks. 
 
On the season Mitchell has played in all 25 matches for the Conqs recording 83 kills, 77 blocks, and 30 digs. J’Carra in her two seasons with the Conqs has amassed 173 total blocks which is the second most in a career in school history.
