After a strong start to the year, the Dodge City women's golf team traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for their second tournament, competing at the Northeastern State University Golf Classic. 
 
The Conquistadors competed against a field of 11 other NCAA Division II teams and finished seventh overall out of 12. The Conqs posted a team score of 632 (+34) over two rounds, with a 322 first-round score and a 310 second-round score. 
 
Once again leading the Conqs was Deonne Pyatt, who tied for 18^th place with a score of 154 (+12) for Dodge City. Pyatt posted rounds of 78 and 76. 
 
Three strokes behind Pyatt was Lily Ascott, who finished tied for 25th at 157 (+15) after carding rounds of 81 and 76. Presley Cornejo finished one stroke behind Ascott, tied for 30^th at 158 (+16) after rounds of 80 and 78. 
 
Molly Lloyd finished with a two-round score of 163 (+21) to tie for 48^th after shooting rounds of 83 and 80, while Tygh Timinsky posted 171 (+29) to tie for 56^th after shooting rounds of 84 and 87. Finishing out the Conq performances was Claire Runyan, who placed 65^th with a 185 (+43) score after rounds of 92 and 93. 
 
Next up the Conqs make a trip to Hobbs, New Mexico, to compete at the Battling in the Desert tournament at Rockwind Community Links on September 28^th-29^th.
