The Conquistadors, with the loss, move to 19-2 on the season and 14-2 in KJCCC action, while it snaps a 10-game Conq win streak in the series with the Trojans.

Conqs worked the ball inside on the first play of the game, and Saje Evans would get a layup, and then the Conqs worked to an 8-4 advantage, but Colby tied the game at 8-8. Conqs countered with a 5-0 run to lead 13-8, but would not score again for the final five minutes of the first quarter as Colby went on a 12-0 run to lead 20-13. The lead stayed in the pocket of Colby throughout the second stanza as they carried a 34-28 lead into intermission over the Conqs. In the second half, the Conqs made pushes, but Colby would have an answer, even working the lead to double figures. Down the stretch, the Conqs chipped away at the deficit but ran out of time and were unable to hit shots late to comeback falling 71-64.
