With 2:28 left in the first quarter, Coffeyville grabbed a 12-8 advantage and then went up 14-8, but the Conqs finished the first stanza on a 7-0 run. The run was capped by a buzzer beating three-pointer by Jade Célérier to give the Conqs the lead at 15-14. Two free throws early in the second quarter flipped the advantage back to Coffeyville at 16-15, but the Conqs once again had another run led by the play of Savi Mi. The run started with Mi finding Sofia Ahmed for a layup, then Mi hit three-straight threes to give the Conqs a 26-16 lead behind an 11-0 run. Coffeyville would cut the lead back down to five, but the Conqs used a 25-14 second quarter to lead 39-29 at halftime.

In the second half, the Conqs withstood multiple pushes by Coffeyville as the Red Ravens drew within six points in the third quarter, but the lead was pushed back to double figures by end of quarter leading 54-43. The fourth quarter saw the Conqs' lead dwindle to five with just over five minutes remaining, but again the Conqs answered as the lead grew back to 10 at 66-56 with 3:07 remaining.
