Dodge City women's soccer's recent struggles continued as they took on Seward County on their home pitch, and the Saints got the better of the Conquistadors in a 3-0 contest. 
 
The loss sends the Conqs to 6-8 on the season and 4-8 in KJCCC action, while marking their fourth straight loss and first loss to Seward County in the series. 
 
After back-and-forth possession in the first half, Seward County started to take control and generate opportunities midway through the first half. The Saints ultimately sent a ball forward and broke through in the 36th minute, taking the lead 1-0. In the second half, the Conqs would pick up the offensive opportunities and generate nine of their 11 shots, but were unable to find the back of the net, while Seward County continued to spray some shots towards the goal and tallied two more in the second half to hand the Conqs a 3-0 loss. 
 
Conqs were outshot on the day 23-11, including 11-2 in the first half. 
 
Two matches remain in the regular season for the Conqs as they will take on #8 Cowley on Wednesday, October 22nd, at home at 4:00 pm before wrapping up the regular season at Butler on Saturday, October 25th at 1:00 pm.
