Dodge City men's soccer made it a 2-0 week on the pitch and picked up another win on the road on Saturday as they took down Seward County 1-0. 

The win moves the Conquistadors to 3-4 on the season and 3-2 in KJCCC action with a two-match win streak. 

The Conqs would strike early in the first three minutes as Soma Kanazawa gave the Conqs the lead after David Garcia found him for the early goal. The first half would see the Conqs continue to spray the Seward County goal tallying 10 shots with seven on goal in the half but settled for a 1-0 lead at halftime. The second half would see the Conqs outshot Seward again 9-4 and the Saints continually shot themselves in the foot racking up multiple cards and frustration throughout the half. The Conqs would hold off the Saints and claim the 1-0 road win. 

The Conqs outshot Seward County 19-6 and 11-4 in shots on goal as Kanazawa tallied his third goal of the season and Garcia recorded his fourth assist of the year. Geovanni De Luna earned the win in goal playing all 90 minutes for the Conqs recording four saves. 

Conqs head into a week off looking to rest and gear up for the next part of the season which will start back up on Wednesday, September 25th at home against Coffeyville and then a trip to Great Bend to take on Barton on Saturday, September 28th.
