Dodge City women's soccer coming off ending a long losing streak to Barton with a tie to open KJCCC action traveled to Wichita to face off with KCK and would see the Blue Devils take the match 1-0. 
 
The Conquistadors with the loss move to 0-2-1 on the season and 0-1-1 in KJCCC play. 
 
KCK would control the contest but the first half would be tight as the Conqs would only see KCK generate nine shots in the half and keep the game scoreless until the 37th minute. In the 37th minute, KCK would tally the only goal of the contest giving them the 1-0 lead which they carried into halftime. The second half saw the Blue Devils of KCK fire off a multitude of shots but the Conqs' defense stymied and challenged them enough to keep them from adding to their lead. However, the Conqs' offensive opportunities were limited leading to a tough 1-0 loss for the Conqs against KCK. 
 
In the loss, Ana Ramirez-Cortes was solid in goal recording eight saves despite giving up a goal in the matchup.
