The Dodge City women's soccer team faced off against their third straight Top 20 KJCCC foe as they took on #18 Hutchinson on the road and fell 3-0.
Three first-half goals doomed the Conqs as they fell to 0-3-1 on the season with the loss and 0-2-1 in conference play.
The Conqs would get the game scoreless until the 23rd minute when Hutchinson broke through and took the lead and would then add two more goals before halftime coming in the 39th and 42nd minutes. Hutchinson in the first half would outshot the Conqs 16-7 leading to the three Blue Dragon goals. In the second half despite the Conqs getting some looks they were unable to get on the board and dropped the matchup 3-0 to Hutchinson on the road.
In the loss, the Conqs were outshot 20-13 with Karen Ernst Ludeking recording four shots with three on goal.
Ana Ramirez-Cortes had four saves in the matchup.
The schedule doesn't get any easier for the Conqs as they return home on Sunday, September 8th to take on Cowley.
