Dodge City football for the second straight finished the regular season ranked in the NJCAA Division I national poll as they remained at #15 in the last regular season poll of the year. 
 
The Conqs wrapped up their season back on November 9^th capping the year with a 6-4 record and 3-3 finish in the Jayhawk Conference to finish fourth in the conference. The Conqs had the second best conference record as there was a three-way tie for first. 
 
With the 6-4 record the Conqs finished back-to-back seasons with a winning record for the first time since 2015 and 2016 season. First year Head Coach, Ryan Lusby led the Conqs to a 5-0 record at home with wins over Iowa Central, Tyler, Ellsworth, and Independence along with a forfeit win over Garden City. The Conqs also picked up a road win over then #8 Highland during the season. 
 
Eight of the Conqs 10 opponents during the season were receiving votes or ranked when the Conqs played them. The Conqs finished the year with the third highest rated strength of schedule according to the Massey Ratings. 
 
The final poll before the postseason will be released next week.
