For the seventh time this season, the Dodge City women's soccer team battled a nationally ranked opponent as they took on #18 Hutchinson at home. 

The Conquistadors would compete throughout but a pair of second-half goals by the Blue Dragons of Hutchinson would doom the Conqs sending them to 3-7-2 on the season and 3-6-2 in KJCCC action. 

The first half would see the Conqs play with the wind at their backs, and they would push the Blue Dragons throughout the first 45 minutes outshooting them 6-3 but would be unable to get on the board. The Conqs would be tied at halftime as the game remained scoreless. In the second half, Hutchinson gathered in possession more dominantly and used that to fire off 16 shots in the half ultimately netting two goals. The Blue Dragons got on the board in the 52nd minute and the Conqs would remain just down one goal until the 77th minute as the Conqs would ultimately fall 2-0 at home. 

The Conqs would be outshot 19-8 in the loss and recorded eight saves.
