The Dodge City volleyball squad squared off with #7 Colby in the final regular season home KJCCC contest. While the Conquistadors pushed the Trojans of Colby, as the match went five sets, Colby earned the victory.
The Conqs would see Colby win the match (25-23, 12-25, 25-23, 24-26, 15-12) which moves the Conqs to 19-13 on the season and 10-5 in KJCCC action with one final regular season game left.

The third set was nearly a mirror image of the first set unfolding the same way and with the same set score as Colby won it 25-23. In the fourth set, the Conqs trailed 12-5 and 16-9 but didn't give up pushing back to tie it at 21-21 and then took a 23-21 lead. Colby then went on a 3-0 run to lead 24-23 and had a match point but the Conqs would score three straight points to win the set 26-24.
