Dodge City men's soccer team returned to the win column with a non-conference 3-1 victory on the road in Synder, Texas beating Western Texas.
The win moves the Conquistadors to 5-9-2 on the season with two games remaining in the regular season.
The Conqs got things going early on the road getting on the board in the seventh minute as
Theo Hoang got the Conqs on the board. The lead grew in the first half as the Conqs tallied two more goals in the 22nd and 29th minutes both off the foot of Hoang. The second half would see Western Texas snag a goal in the 65th minute but the Conqs strong first half pushed them to the 3-1 win.
The Conqs had 14 shots with nine on goal in the contest as Hoang recorded the hat trick and
Jose Rojas tallied a pair of assists.
Conqs will wrap up KJCCC action for the season in their next contest as they travel to Coffeyville to take on the Red Ravens on Saturday, October 26th at 6:00 pm. The regular season will wrap up on Tuesday, October 29th at Iowa Western.
